Since 2010, Segorbe has been committed to excellence in tourism quality, following the guidelines set by the Q of Tourist Quality. The Segorbe tourist office is a pioneer in this certification, it was the first center to bet on such recognition.
The “Q” brings to the tourist establishments that have it: PRESTIGE, DIFFERENTIATION, RELIABILITY, RIGOR AND PROMOTION by the Secretariat of State for Tourism and the Autonomous Communities. The establishments endorsed by the “Q of Quality” have passed strict audits that ensure that their service delivery is a guarantee of quality, safety and professionalism. All this to ensure customers the best possible tourist experience.
The Institute for Spanish Tourism Quality, a Certification Body of Quality Systems specially created for tourist companies, formed by the most important national tourism associations of this country, SET, CCAA and FEMP. It is a private, independent, non-profit-making Spanish body and recognized throughout the country. Is responsible for certifying, administering and ensuring the correct use of the “Q” Mark.
It is a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations promoted by the Institute of Tourism of Spain (TURESPAÑA) and the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP), which works with companies/tourist services of up to 30 different professions, with the ultimate goal of improving tourist experience and satisfaction.
The new certification of Tourism Sustainability has been implemented by ICTE to help establishments, companies and destinations in Spain in the integration of the Millennium Development Goals.
The Tourism Sustainability Label is obtained when the tourist organization complies with at least one of the following two standards:
