Segorbe Kids

A destination to enjoy with the family

Segorbe is committed to family tourism and we continually carry out initiatives so that all traveling families who visit us do so in the most fun way. Throughout the year we have an extensive program and activities to discover Segorbe with children, dramatized visits at certain times of the year, recreational activities, recreational spaces, summer fun, children’s parties…

Fairs

The Purísima Fair is a very important date for the little ones, since the fair attractions are set up in the city for the enjoyment of the little ones. Day 8 is the big day where more stalls and attractions are concentrated, but also in the next few days you can continue enjoying the attractions.

Segobriga Park

Without a doubt, the best entertainment in Segorbe for children is the Segóbriga Park Aquatic Complex, a place where the little ones in the family have a great time and spend a refreshing and fun day. The park has online sales.

Nature routes

If you love nature and like to go on hiking routes, you cannot miss the family routes to get to know the nature of Segorbe and discover the Palancia River, the Laguna de la Rosa, the Sierra Calderona Natural Park or the ancient olive tree “La Morruda”.

Museums for children

Learn about our history through the different museums in the city, where we have specific tours recommended for children. Visit the Bull and Horse Entrance Interpretation Center, the Estrella Fort, the Oil Museum and the Medieval Towers Interpretation Center, with the Prison Tower. And a mandatory stop is the Exhibition of Giants and Bigheads, where the little ones will be able to learn about one of the traditions of the municipality with the Giants and Bigheads who formerly walked the streets on special days.

Parks and gardens

Between museum and museum we recommend resting in the most beautiful parks and gardens in the city, where the little ones can have fun on the swings, discover what type of trees there are in the Botánico Pau roundabout or see a squirrel on the Sopeña promenade, touring the place where The old castle of the city was located.

Another unique corner of Segorbe is the place of the Fountain of the 50 pipes. Place where children can learn about all the coats of arms of the provinces of Spain and contemplate the Palancia River. This area has a bar and an area with tables and chairs for picnics.
