Serra d’Espadà Natural Park
de Francesc Mondragon, 2
12528 Eslida (Castelló)
The Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, declared on September 29, 1998, is the 2nd largest protected area in the Valencian Community, occupying 31,180 hectares.
In this mountain range we find one of the few sandstone outcrops in the Valencian territory, configuring an abrupt and broken relief, made up of peaks and ridges accompanied by deep ravines and ravines, where we can find numerous fountains and lush cork oak forests unique in our geography.
These characteristics give it an exceptional landscape value, accompanied by exceptional botanical and faunal wealth, evident in the large number of endemisms and singularities existing in its territory.
